Background - Born and raised in the Los Angeles area.  She was surrounded by film people all her life.  After graduating from the University of the Pacific she followed in her parents footsteps. 

Career Beginnings - Jamie Lee first got her feet wet on the television series "Operation Petticoat"  Her screen debut was in 1978 in "Halloween".  More horror movies followed dubbing her "The Queen of Scream" 

Notable Roles - Curtis showed her acting and comedy abilities in the popular film, "A Fish Called Wanda" which garnered her a Golden Globe nomination.  Her talent and popularity in the hit TV series, "Anything But Love" gave her the prized Golden Globe. 

Family - Jamie Lee is the daughter of actress Janet Leigh and actor Tony Curtis.  She and her husband, actor Christopher Guest, were married in 1984.  They are the parents of two adopted children, Annie and Thomas.  They live in the Los Angeles area.
