The Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites is located in the center of downtown Los Angeles and is approximately 30 minutes from the Los Angeles airport.
This hotel, the Westin Bonaventure, is the largest hotel in Los Angeles with 1,354 rooms including 135 suites. The large 35-story round glass towers are easily visible from the 110 freeway as you approach downtown Los Angeles making the Westin Bonaventure a familiar landmark to the downtown skyline.
There is a six story atrium complete with a lake, a six level shopping gallery and over many restaurants, lounges, gift shops and boutiques.
Most of the Westin Bonaventure clientele is from corporate travelers and conventions.
The Bonaventure is in the midst of a major renovation in preparation for the Democratic Convention set for August 2000. "The Heavenly Bed" will replace every bed in the hotel's 1,354 rooms by May 2001.
The Hollywood Bowl Room can accommodate up to 340 guests for events such as weddings and bar mitzvahs.
LA Prime, the New York style steakhouse, is scheduled to open in June 2000. It replaces the Top of The Five on the 35th floor.
