Walt Disney World ® is south of Orlando at Lake Buena Vista, Florida
and covers 30,500 acres of theme and water parks, 99 holes of golf, 26
resort hotels, a sports complex, a wedding pavilion, and several entertainment
dining shopping complexes. It can be reached from several exits off
of I-4 and also from US 192. This mega resort is always in continuous expansion
and enhancements.

Disney's Animal Kingdom (tm) Park - The
fourth Walt Disney World ® Park officially opened Wednesday 22 April
1998. A mixture of animals both real and imaginary.

Accommodations - In the "World" there is a
huge selection of lodging from value oriented to deluxe, even camping.
There are health spas and fairy tale weddings.
Hours - The four parks open daily generally
at 9:00 am but closing times vary between each park and depend upon the
season. Complete park hours are available on the official Disney web site
above. This place is popular so be prepared for large crowds and long waits
especially during peak holiday periods.
Admission - Several different admission
packages are available. Tickets are nontransferable and there are no refunds
for unused tickets for any reason including inclement weather. Unused days
never expire. There are adult and children tickets. Ticket purchases are

Attire - The temperature
year round averages 72 degrees. Higher temperature and humidity during
the summer months of June through September with frequent afternoon thunderstorms.
Slightly cooler with low humidity during the winter from December through
February. Dress comfortably.
Surrounding Areas
- Sea World is about to open a huge new water ride just north of the "World"
and a few miles further north, Universal Studios is constructing their
own new theme park, Islands of Adventure complete with a large resort center.
