. | William Hurt was a highly praised stage actor in New York before he
became one of the most talented and sought after actors in Hollywood.
Hurt received nominations from the Academy for his performances in "Children of a Lesser God" and "Broadcast News" and the Oscar for "Kiss of the Spider Woman". After a few years making independent films, Hurt came back to the big studios taking roles in "Jane Eyre" and "Michael". Awards
