Meg Ryan
|
. |
A cute effervescent blond girl, Meg Ryan began her film career in 1981
("Rich and Famous") and she has been cast in over thirty movies
and TV series. Her most memorable TV stint was the part of Betsy
Stewart Montgomery Andropoulas in the popular soap opera, "As The World
Turns" (1982-1984).
In 1989 Meg Ryan was teamed with Billy Crystal in the blockbuster comedy,
"When Harry Met Sally". Rent the movie if only for the infamous
luncheon scene. It's well worth it.
Meg Ryan shines in comedic roles. The popular "Sleepless in
Seattle", with Tom Hanks, was the perfect project to show off her talents.
Yet Ryan has the ability and talent to tackle the more dramatic roles that
have come her way. She proves this in the films "When a Man Loves
a Woman" and "Courage Under Fire".
In 1991 Meg married her "Innerspace" co-star Dennis Quaid. (14
February 1991 - 16 July 2001) She is divorced with 1 child.
