  • . Matthew Broderick, the son of the late actor James, began his career in 1983 in "War Games". A versatile actor, Matthew Broderick's hilarious antics of Ferris in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off' are in stricking contrast to his portrayals in "Torch Song Trilogy" and Neil Simon's "Biloxi Blues". Matthew has appeared in over 25 films and TV movies. 

    Matthew won his first Tony Award for his performance in Neil Simon's "Brighton Beach Memoirs". Also on Broadway, Matthew won plaudits as well as his second Tony Award - Best Actor in a Musical - for his starring role in the revival of "How To Suceed In Business Without Really Trying". 

    1998 is a busy year for Matthew Broderick. He has three films due to open.
