    Comments    		 . A Price Above Rubies is a movie about a young woman (Renee Zellweger) who attempts to come to grips with her own sexuality and individuality as she is torn between her role as wife and mother in an Orthodox Jewish community and her career in jewelry. 

    Sonia has married a devoted Jewish man and together they have a baby boy. In this close-knit, Orthodox Jewish community in New York that should be enough. In this world, a woman who is always there to care for her husband and look after her household is worth the highest price - a price far above rubies.
