"Out of Sight", the movie, is about a bank robber, Jack, who
seems to be letting his career be interrupted by a US Marshal, Karen, while
his friend, Buddy, tries to keep them focused on the project at hand. Jack
breaks out of prison when deputy federal marshal Sisco happens to be there.
Buddy gives them both a lift in the truck of his car.
Other films based on Leonard's books were "Get Shorty" and "Jackie Brown."
