In "The Mod Squad", the movie, story is MGM's adaptation of the
Aaron Spelling created TV series which started on ABC in 1968 and ran for
100 episodes.
The stroyline is that the three young leads agree to serve undercover
in a deal with Captain Adam Greer. They work undercover in Los Angeles
in the land of crime, drugs, and suspected teen prostitution. Pete is the
rich kid with the bad boy past. Linc has an arson past from the hood. Julie
is the former heroin addict.
