"The Green Mile", a movie based on the novel by Stephen King about the lives of the guards on a 1935 Louisiana prison death row and in particular one wrongly accused man.

Based on the 1996 bestseller "The Green Mile : The Complete Serial Novel" by Stephen Kin - originally a series of six novellas in paperback form where all six volumes ended up on the New York Times bestseller list. The Green Mile won a 1997 Bram Stoker Award for Best Novel.
